My experience at this park was just opposite of the previous posters. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I kept extending my stay and they managed to keep me in my site so I didn't have to move. Park was clean and nicely kept. Wifi was weak but useable. Some sites have trees blocking Sat reception, so be aware of that. I will stay here again. Nicest park in the area. Only about 10 minutes to Kenmore Air seaplane base on north shore of Washington Lake.

This is the third time I've stayed at this park. The park is very nicely landscaped and is spotless. Sites are level and have sufficient space between them. Access to the highway is easy. Shopping and city center is nearby. The only downside to this park is the closeness of the highway. There is traffic noise....and is somewhat noticeable. Hopefully when the trees get bigger they'll help reduce the noise. I will stay here again.

This is a nice place to stay with a couple of exceptions. Sites are spread apart and most are pull thrus. The downside to this place is, the flys were terrible when I was there, not to mention the other flying insects. The other problem was the odor from the neighboring dairy. I understand the dairy has been sold and will be removed, that should help with the fly's and odor.........this will make this park closer to a 10 rating in the future.

Nice, clean park. Lots to do and see in the area. Several restaurants, shops, aquarium, and boat rides within easy walking distance. I was surprise how clean the surrounding areas were. Would stay here again.

This is the second time I've stayed here. This park is very clean. It has a country feel to it, yet downtown San Diego is only about 15-20 minutes away. Check the park's website for all the things to do here. When touring the area today, I stopped in and checked out other parks that are closer to downtown,but in my opinion, none rate as high as Santee Lakes, especially when factoring in the fees. Also has free wifi. I'll be back.

I've stayed at this park several times in the last couple of years. I would have rated this park a 10 with my previous visits, but with the new prices and wifi not working, I rate it lower. It's now a KOA and new prices go into effect 7-07. The prices are different for weekends, holidays, weekdays, and with reservations, will be in the $80 range. The park is in a nice location, but with that price, I'm sorry to say, I'll be looking for somewhere else. The park has always been spotless, but I did notice this time, weeds growing and the lawn hadn't been mowed, still a nice place. I was also informed their off season 3 nights for the price of 2 will not longer be offered.

Very nice, clean park. Wide, pull through parking spaces. Evergreen Aviation Museum is located next door. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Very nice, clean park. Has some pull through sites. I've stayed here a couple of times in the last year. Friendly staff, nice facilities, easy on/off freeway. Only negative thing about this park is the noise from I-5. After a while, I didn't even notice it.
